The largest villa of the Ryukyu Kingdom that was used for recreation by the Ryukyu royal family and to entertain diplomatic envoys. The garden is designated a World Heritage site and a place of special scenic beauty. It incorporates unique Ryukyu-style construction methods, which were influenced by Chinese culture.
