Tunnels dug by the former Imperial Japanese Navy and a museum
These tunnels are the former Okinawa headquarters of the Japanese Navy, dug by the Japanese Navy in 1944. Around 4,000 officers and men met their end here, including commanding officer Minoru Ota.
